H. L. Clausing Inc has the ability to test Specular Reflectance via numerous methods and at almost any incident angle. Our test equipment and methods meet or exceed Mil-Spec standards.

Quality Control testing is not only an in-house procedure but is also offered to our customers as a stand-alone service. Many of our customers need to verify mirror performance that is outside the range of their on-site equipment.
Our instruments cover a very wide spectral range through the UV, Visible, Near-IR and IR bandwidths (190 nm to 25 microns).

H. L. Clausing Inc performs Humidity and Thermal Cycling using our accurate, computer controlled chamber. Along with performing the tests themselves, we can also provide documentation for the temperature and humidity profiles.
We can test samples from – 73 C to 190 C and 0% to 100% humidity.

H. L. Clausing Inc has the capability to perform Surface Inspection and Microscopy on both large and small surfaces. High power microscopy allows analysis of fine structure artifacts. Low power microscopy allows analysis of wide field surface regions. Both systems are equipped with Differential Interference Contrast (DIC) optics and high-resolution measurement software. Measurement software is calibrated to NIST standards.
